(I checked this speedtest at Samsung Galaxy s4 near Gulshan area, speed may vary according to location and number of usage at your area under same BTS!)

So, What I’m getting at TELETALK 3G 1 Mbps speed actually?

Its ping was 140 ms (The lower the better), that’s average but remember it varies according to time & sever you are connected!

Download speed – 1.83  Mbps which is 234.24 KB/s & if you consider kbps its 1.83 Mbps, which is definitely more than 1 Mbps! (Happy with the awesome speed as getting almost double of the speed they said!)

1 Mbps = 128 KB/s

Upload sped – 1.34 Mbps which is 171.52 KB/s & if you consider 1 Mbps its 1.34 Mbps, which is definitely more than 1 Mbps!

OMG, the download speed is almost double of the original package speed! Well Done Teletalk 3G!

I can watch videos directly at 480p without buffering & skype is flawless!

Teletalk 3G, SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!!

Grameenphone 3G 512kbps speed test review

From the last quarter of 2013, Grameenphone of Bangladesh has started 3G services, though they come out with the best HSPA+ technology in the country, but they provide only 1Mbpb & 512 kbps speed for the customers.

What ever, today I’m going to share speed experience of 512 kbps GP 3G!

Here is the result in speedtest!

GP 3G 512 kbps

GP 3G 512 kbps

(I checked this speedtest at Samsung galaxy s4 near Gulshan area, speed may vary according to location and number of usage at your area under same BTS!)

So, What I’m getting at GP 3G 512kbps speed actually?

Its ping was 46 ms (The lower the better), that’s really good but remember it varies according to time & sever you are connected!

Download speed – 0.63Mb/s which is 80.64 KB/s & if you consider kbps its 645.12 Kbps, which is definitely more than 512kbps! (Happy with the speed as getting more than what they said!)

512kbps = 0.5Mbps = 64KB/s

Upload sped – 0.61Mb/s which is 78.08 KB/s & if you consider kbps its 624.64 Kbps, which is definitely more than 512kbps!

Not bad I think! As they have the best coverage in Bangladesh, I think it would be a good choice if you travel a lot inside Bangladesh!

So, GP provides some decent speed via gp 3G services, hope they’ll maintain their good quality and provide some affordable packages for the general people of Bangladesh!

GP provides almost 80KB/s download speed which is decent at any 512kbps line!

OTG blog :: from train :: On the way to Rangamati

now I’m at Turna express train on the way to Rangamati (via Chittagong) & its a bright morning after an funny, busy and kinda stressful night! As because I’m on the way to Rangamati to attend one of my very close friends wedding ( @gourabdmc ).

Can’t resist me to say few experiences about the night…. Oh… That started with different cards games and then turned into antaksari and continued with many different funny games… Huh started sleeping at late night/early morning!

Now I’m really enjoying the natural beauties of hills and tillas of chittagong!

For rangamati after reaching Chittagong we’ll go by Bus from there as there’s no train service to that hill tract region.
